On Friday the MLS team made an announcement about Frank de Boer leaving Atlanta United. Frank de Boer will no more be a head coach of Atlanta.
The iconic Dutch player will now look for a fresh opportunity elsewhere.
Atlanta, who was nudged by many to win MLS Cup in 2020, was knocked out of the MLS is Back tournament earlier this week without registering a single point in Orlando, Florida.
Atlanta and De Boer mutually decide to part ways, claims the Georgia club so we all know how that normally goes.
De Boer said the following about his exit from Atlanta.
“I’m thankful for the experience I’ve had with Atlanta United.”
“Coaching in Major League Soccer and staying in Atlanta has been a great adventure and a fun new challenge. I can never forget the amazing fans here in Atlanta, they are really remarkable. I want to thank the players, coaches, and staff for all of their support, it has been my pleasure to work with all of you.”
