Karim Benzema, who shone against Eibar, was again appreciated by Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.
In all competitions as Madrid achieved five straight wins by beating Eibar 3-1 in LaLiga on Sunday, Benzema scored and got two assists.
Karim Benzema is playing “phenomenally” after helping Real Madrid to another win, coach Zinedine Zidane said.
It was the 30th time that the Frenchman scored and assisted in the same LaLiga match. In the 21st century, only Cristiano Ronaldo (44) has done it more often for Madrid.
“He is doing phenomenally, but not only at the goal level,” he told a news conference.
“It is not just a goal, it is a game. It is clarity in the game and it is very important for our team.”
“But then we must highlight also the work of all.”
