World Cup Qualifiers: England secured first place in Group I beating Andorra, 

Leeds United’s Patrick Bamford made his debut for the national team at the age of 28 when England took on Andorra at Wembley in World Cup qualifiers. From the very first minute of the starting whistle, England showed some beautiful football scoring however only 18 minutes into the football match. Jesse Lingard took the lead and scored the only goal in the first half, this ended the half-time with a 1-0 score. 

Three Lions’ head coach Gareth Southgate put Liverpool’s right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield. In the 62nd minute, Harry Kane entered the field and just 10 minutes later the Tottenham forward scored from the penalty spot in the 71st minute. Jesse Lingard continued the score to a 3-0 lead finding the net in the 78th minute and scored his second goal of the evening as he produced a perfect strike from the edge of the box.

Settling the final score just 5 minutes before the final whistle Bukayo Saka also added his name on the scoreboard. Gareth Southgate’s team secured first place in Group I with a 4-0 win over Andorra, while Albania’s late winner placed them second. 

Watch football highlights of the World Cup qualifiers match as England stuns Andorra in Group I. As for Group J, Iceland – North Macedonia clash ended up in a 2-2 draw placing the guests third in the group with only Germany and Armenia ahead.
