Wolves confirmed Raul is comfortable following a surgery

Raul Jimenez clashed his head with David Luiz in the 2-1 victory over Arsenal.

Wolves have revealed that Jimenez is “comfortable” following an operation.

The Mexican required oxygen since suffering a nasty clash of heads with the Brazilian and was then taken off the pitch on a stretcher.

Luiz’s head was bandaged and he until leaving the game proceeded at the interval.

Wolves manager Nuno acknowledged he expected the worst but an optimistic report has now been given by the club.

The official statement read: “Raul is comfortable following last night’s surgery, which he had at a hospital in London.”
