Wolves achieved an early victory scoring two goals in six minutes

At the opening Premier League in the clash against Sheffield United, Wolves won an impressive 2-0 victory last evening.

With two goals of Raul Jimenez and Romain Saïss saw the visitors go up in six minutes.

Wolves struck twice, both goals coming from the heart of the box, in the first six minutes.

When a marvelous Daniel Podence cross was chopped by Aaron Ramsdale, Raul Jimenez opened the scoring.

Then saw Saiss rise above a sea of Blades and Wolves in the sixth minute to plant a Pedro Neto corner kick beyond Ramsdale’s grasp.

Reminding everyone that he remains among the very best marksmen in the top flight, the Mexican picked up where he left off by netting a spectacular volley inside the three-minute window.

Only three minutes later, Romain Saiss doubled the visitors’ lead, all-but ending the game before it even began, and the rest of the game was all about Jimenez’s consistency upfront.

Jimenez curled a 20-yard shot wide of the goal, after 20 minutes.

Blades then started to find some footing in the match and as Enda Stevens emerged from in-tight with a left-foot shot over the wall, he brought some more energy out of the half-time locker room.

George Baldock couldn’t bring the rebound on the frame through a sea of players and in the 51st minute, John Fleck crushed the far post on a John Lundstram set-up.

A corner nearly at the other end gave Wolves their third but Saiss’ strong header bounded the far post-high.

Saiss’s good day nearly ended with an awful injury when John Egan trod in the box at the back of his foot, but he was able to keep going and saw Ramsdale smash his shot off the bar before Jimenez slapped the rebound wide.

Saiss then cleared a McBurnie header off the line to avoid a nervous finish, in the second minute of stopping.
