Victor: ‘You’ll hear of me directly when it’s time’

There were reports that Lille forward Victor Osimhen has signed with Napoli on a five-year deal, he refuted as ‘fake news’ and said ‘You’ll hear of me directly when it’s time.’

After completing a season in Lille, being valued at €50 m, the striker is expected to move on this summer.

Napoli is currently the favorite but faces stiff competition from Liverpool, so Osimhen was upset to see news of a five-year deal with the Partenopei in Nigeria and France.

“A lot of fake news about me agreeing on a deal with Napoli is sickening for real,” he told Omasports.com.

“I’m surprised at the journalists, that say they are professionals. I find it amazing. Please disregard any fake news, when it’s time for my transfer, you’ll hear from me directly.”
