Former Real Madrid head coach Vicente Del Bosque has bestowed his remembrances of working with Brazilian striker Ronaldo, who joined the Madrid club in the summer of 2002.
“He was loved by everyone at the club and beyond. Ronaldo is a really good person. He didn’t like to see other people sad. He was wonderful. He was one of those players who just made the team better. He became a great leader because of his talent and because he was a good person,” Del Bosque said to Marca.
“I’m sure he would have been even better had it not been for those injuries. It all affected the level of his performance because he suffered serious injuries. Despite that, he was a beast. A phenomenal player.”
