Jan Vertonghen disagrees with his assent to sign a new deal with Spurs so that he could join Inter as a free agent. “I want to travel to Europe and learn a new language.” Jan clarifies.
The Defender’s agreement with Spurs will expire at the end of this season, but rumors of an extension seem to be premature.
Vertonghen told Play Sports Kot on YouTube, that he wants to sign with the right club. It could be Spurs or another club. It must be a club with ambition. The only thing important for him is to play as the national team in Europe.
Vertonghen pointed out that Italy and Spain were among the options he was looking at, particularly as he wanted to learn a different language. According to HNL writer Kristof Terreur.
“It might sound weird, but since the coronavirus crisis, there has been more interest. I’m a free agent and some clubs might not have a lot of money,” says Jan.
