Van Dijk knee injury operation went successful 

Due to a knee ligament injury, Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk underwent surgery, reports the club’s official website.

The 29-year-old player will begin recovery after the operation, carried out in London, was successful. 

The club still does not report when will van Dijk’s return. In a derby with Everton, the player was seriously injured after a tackle by rival goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
