France has finally qualified for the UEFA Nations League after a stunning 3-2 win over Belgium. Theo Hernandez propelled France into the UEFA League of Nations final on Thursday, with a final strike that gave Les Bleus a thrilling 3-2 match score win over Belgium. Milan centre-back Hernandez scored his first goal for France in the 90th minute of his second international appearance, when France returned 2-0 at the break with shots from Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe.
Didier Deschamps’ side will take on La Rosa in Milan’s San Siro in Sunday’s final after an interesting match that Belgium thought they won in the final minutes when Romelu Lukaku pulled Yannick Carrasco’s cross.
However, the Red Devils players are still celebrating, with Lukaku’s earlier completion being dismissed for offside. And with the match looking like it was going for overtime, Hernandez collected the ball from the left before throwing it to the winner.
He started the match with his brother Lucas Hernández, making the pair the first two brothers to play for France, since Hervé and Patrick Revelli played a friendly against Romania in 1974. Watch football highlights of France win over Belgium in UEFA Nations League
