The wait for Euro 2020 is over as the tournament will start on June 11 (June 12 IST) after the delay of one year already due to COVID-19. Italy will take on Turkey in the first meeting. The tournament concludes with the summit to be held at Wembley Stadium in England on July 11 (12 July in India). UEFA Euro 2020 group and teams
A total of 24 nations are participating in Euro 2020, divided into six separate groups. The details of each group are given below:
Group A: Turkey, Italy, Wales, Switzerland
Group B: Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Russia
Group C: Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria, North Macedonia
Group D: England, Croatia, Scotland, Czech Republic

UEFA Euro 2020 format
The Euro 2020 format is more or less identical to previous versions. The first two teams in each group will advance to the round of 16 with third place in the top four. Then the elimination phase of the tournament begins.
