In Paris Saint-Germain, two players are assumed to be COVID-19 positive and are following health protocols.

Paris Saint-Germain’s two players are suspected of having contracted COVID-19, the club has announced.

With that fixture moved back at the request of PSG following their loss on August 23 at Bayern Munich, the finalists of the 2019-20 Champions League are due to launch their 2020-21 Ligue 1 campaign at Lens on September 10.

A brief statement on the club’s Twitter account read: “Two players of Paris Saint-Germain are suspected of having COVID-19.”

“Their health condition is reassuring. They are already following the dedicated health protocol.”
