Tottenham has signed a loan deal for Brazilian striker Carlos Vinicius from Benfica, Sky Sports reports.
The deal covers a loan fee of £ 2.7 million with the potentiality of purchasing further for £38.2 million.
Vinicius is seen as a reliable back-up to striker Harry Kane from Spurs and last summer he joined Benfica from Napoli for £15 m.
On Friday he is expected to fly to London for his medical.
the 25-year-old was linked to a number of the biggest clubs in Europe-like Juventus and Inter Milan and scored 24 goals last season.
This season Vinicius has made two appearances, in the Champions League loss by PAOK and the 5-1 victory over Famalicao earlier in September.
