There are chances of losing out on next term European football if Tottenham would score anything less than six points out of their two remaining matches, Harry Kane told his team-mates in Tottenham.
“Beating Newcastle was a big achievement,” he told the website Spurs. “We said earlier, ’Three games, if we want to be in with a shout of getting to the Europa League, it must be three wins.’”
“Arsenal was a great victory for us, and that brought us strength in these three final games. Every game is tough, and for us, it’s been an up-and-down season, especially our way away from, so we knew it was important to get the three points and thankfully we did.”
“Now, some of the teams around us have to face each other, and we’d have to think two more victories so we would be in the Europa League positions, so we can just look at ourselves to see what’s going on. It’s a big game against Leicester on Sunday.”
