Three players didn’t sign an extended deal at Bayern Munich

New deal at Bayern Munich will hold Thiago Alcantara, David Alaba, and Jerome Boateng through next year, but the players are yet to sign and Flick wishes them all to remain.

“Thiago’s an exceptional player, an incredible talent in football,” he told reporters on Friday.

“He brings a great level of play to every team, and he is very smart.”

“I want him to stay here. The club and he know that. I want him to support us next year, and Alaba too.”

“We are in good spirits that it can work out, but you never know how it’s going to turn out in the sport.”

“David and Jerome do very well, Boateng is in very strong shape. That is the basis we are so good defensively.”

“It’s obvious you want to have such experienced players in your own ranks. I can’t say what Jerome thinks about it. He’s at a certain age, maybe he wants another challenge by switching. He still has got another year of the contract.”
