Former PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel, who is currently the manager of Chelsea, has admitted that a year ago the Parisians wanted to acquire midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who eventually moved from Sporting to Manchester United.
“The then PSG sporting director, Portuguese Antero Henrique, was very familiar with him. We fought hard to get him,” Tuchel said at the press conference.
“Bruno is one of the best-attacking midfielders in the world and he makes a huge contribution as we go along. It’s bad enough that we have to play against him.”
