Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has conversed about former coach Frank Lampard.
“I admit that Frank’s sacking is a huge disappointment for the supporters of the club. I have a lot of respect for him, I was a fan myself when Frank was a player,” Tuchel said to Chelsea official website.
“It’s been fascinating to watch him play, his personality on the pitch. He was a key figure throughout the entire 90 minutes and demonstrated what it means to be a Chelsea player, what pressure, commitment and the desire to win mean.”
“I respect him as a man, I respect everything he has done and my respect increased when I received a message from him this morning. It was a personal message in which he wished me all the best and wrote that maybe we will meet in the future when there is an opportunity.”
