“The decision to move to Barca was right for me” – Denis Suarez

Denis Suarez admits that he has no regrets about himself taking the decision to move to Barca in 2013 and take part in “brutal” training sessions besides Lionel Messi & Andres Iniesta and in fact, he would have received a regular place if he remained in Manchester City.

“I might have been playing there regularly if I had stayed, but I made that decision to go to Barcelona and it was the right one for me because I played a lot of games for their first team,” Suarez said to The Athletic.

 “I’ve been in the City for two years. They asked me to renew but I would rather go to Barcelona. No one knew what happened.”
