The decision to continue the Bundesliga will be made on May 6

On Wednesday, May 6, the decision to continue the German Football Championship will be made, German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced.

On Thursday, Merkel met with all 16 state governors and warned them that there is still a rise in coronavirus infections if protection measures are prematurely alleviated.

From January 9 there is a hope that the Bundesliga will continue behind the closed doors but the decision will obviously be a political one, earlier announced the German Football Federation.

On 13th March Bundesliga has stopped with nine rounds remaining.
