Stephan El Shaarawy COVID-19 test reported ‘false positive’

There is good news from the Italian camp, according to Gianluca Di Marzio who confirmed Stephan El Shaarawy is reported to be ‘false positive’ for COVID-19 and can therefore play tomorrow.

“He had a positive swab, with a low viral load, which suggests he could be a false positive.”

Italy’s chief medic, Professor Andrea Ferretti, had already suggested the situation at a press conference last afternoon.
