Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United FC head coach has illustrated the results of the draw for the Europa League 1/8 finals.
The English club will be playing against AC Milan.
“Great birthday present, isn’t it? Just look at this draw! We have a tradition: we face difficult opponents,” Solskjaer said to official website of the club.
“The game against AC Milan will make us feel as if we are in the Champions League. It is great that there are games we are looking forward to. This team needs challenges and we enjoy and embrace them.”
“We respect Milan’s tradition and history, they are a great club, they have a great stadium. We are looking forward to the meeting.”
“Zlatan, of course, is very impressive. I thought that his career was over already. He had an injury that made it questionable to play professionally, but he came back and went to MLS and then moved to AC Milan and really took them to the next level.”
“Milan are on the rise, they are good this season. Their team really impresses me, especially Diogo Dalot. He came to AC Milan for the experience of playing at a top club and learned a lot. He has been playing a bit more this season and is in good form. I hope we make him sweat!”
The first leg of the Europa League 1/8 finals will be played on 11 March, with the return leg on 18 March.
