Swiss national team player Xherdan Shaqiri tested positive for coronavirus for two days and in the last test he resulted negative, Swiss Football Association (SFV) announced on Thursday.
Shaqiri (28) will travel to Spain with the national team, where Switzerland will play a League of Nations match on Saturday, although UEFA has yet to decide whether he can play or not. Yesterday, Shaquiri missed a friendly match against Croatia, which Switzerland lost 1-2.
The SFV said in a statement, Manuel Akanji, Borussia Dortmund defender, is in isolation but has no symptoms after being positive on Wednesday.
Switzerland will play a League of Nations match against Germany away on October 13th.
