Serie A Top Transfer Rumors
Dusan Vlahovic is one of the brightest up and coming young stars in Serie A and has already been linked to a host of top clubs including Arsenal, Manchester City and Juventus.
The Fiorentina forward has scored 16 goals in just 20 appearances in Serie A this season, currently leading the way in the goalscoring charts, and also equalled Cristiano Ronaldo’s Serie A goalscoring record set in 2020 when he scored his 33rd goal of the calendar year in December 2021.
Let’s not forget that the Serbian international is still just 21-years-old.
Arsenal have become one of the leading clubs to sign Vlahovic due to their uncertainty in the striker department.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future at the Emirates seems to be over, whilst both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah’s contracts expire at the end of the season.
Arsenal could be Vlahovic’s best suitors, in terms of salary and transfer fee, as well as potentially offering Lucas Torreira as part of the deal.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been one of Serie A’s most highly sought after stars for some time now with the Lazio midfielder being linked with a move away pretty much every transfer window.
The latest rumors are that the Serbian could be making a potential switch to Old Trafford to join Manchester United as they look to bolster their midfield options.
Earlier this month that Milinkovic-Savic hinted that his time at Lazio could be coming to an end.
There are currently two years left on his contract and the midfielder seems to be evaluating his options.
However, it is unlikely that any other Italian side could be able to afford his €70 million price tag, meaning that teams such as Manchester United and PSG could be the most likely destinations.
One of the forgotten Serie A stars, Aaron Ramsey continues to be linked with a move away from Juventus this January.
The Welshman has found life difficult in Turin since joining the club in 2019 on a free from Arsenal. Ramsey has made just 25 Serie A starts over two and a half seasons at Juve, including just one start in the league this season.
Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Ramsey is an ‘outgoing player’ and has once again struggled to keep fit during his time at the Old Lady, a problem that hindered him during his time as a Gunner.
