Serie A president tested positive for coronavirus

The Serie A has declared that President Paolo Dal Pino has tested coronavirus positive.

The club statement also reports that President Dal Pino is asymptomatic and isolated at home.

“Lega Serie A announces that President Paolo Dal Pino tested positive for COVID-19 following the swab carried out yesterday,” the statement read, according to Usnews.

“Asymptomatic and in isolation at home, he will follow the procedures set out in the health protocol.”

On Sunday  Napoli refused to travel to Juventus after positive tests for two of its players, following this Serie A’s handling of the virus was under the spotlight.

The League Judge could have inflicted a 3-0 loss on Napoli.
