The Serie A match between Genoa and Turin has been postponed writes La Repubblica, after 15 members of the home team tested positive for coronavirus.
Genoa was supposed to host Torino on Saturday, but it will not take place due to the new situation.
Four members of the professional staff and 11 players tested positive for coronavirus, following this local authorities in Genoa banned the team from training.
The new date of the match is not known yet.
After the Serie A season resumed in June this is the first match that was canceled due to the coronavirus and in the meantime, a new season has begun.
