The Premier League has been requested by Frank Lampard to make an easy Chelsea schedule for the next season which is supposed to commence on Sepeetambr 12.
Frank Lampard feels that his team will not be able to start playing football again next month.
“I think we’re going to be asked when we start because it’s going to depend on whether we’re going against Bayern Munich,” Lampard informed reporters about next season, via Goal.
“I’m not overlooking its game; it’s a huge game for us. I am just maybe caught up today. The players need a bit of rest before we prepare for that game.”
“It’s not perfect that we start against Bayern and maybe move on. Players need a rest; they need a rest to compete at the level of the Premier League. Worst case situation, the 12th is too early to start practicing again, if we don’t go through versus Bayern.”
“Players deserve a rest. That’s why we’re pulling two hamstrings and making people drop out before that. I’d like to believe the Premier League is going to look at it positively and look at the start for next season. I hope we’re worth it, as a Premier League club competing in the Champions League.”
