Sam Allardyce has been named by West Brom as their new head coach, just hours after Slaven Bilic’s sacking.
With the former England manager taking over at West Brom, Sam Allardyce has returned to Premier League management for the first time in over two years.
Allardyce, whose key achievement as a manager occurred between 1999 and 2007 at Bolton, signed an 18-month deal with his long-time assistant Sammy Lee on board.
In his eighth Premier League club, the West Midlands derby against Aston Villa on Sunday will be his first match in charge.
