Antonio Rudiger compared Willian skills to Eden Hazard, a previous Blues talisman, and claimed Chelsea would miss the Brazilian winger if he eventually decides to leave the club on a free transfer.
“From day one of coming to Chelsea, he and David Luiz have taken me into the squad and helped me out in the first few months because it wasn’t that easy,” The Germany international told reporters, via Goal.
“He’s a nice man and a very, very successful player. He ’s cool and polite so it’s going to be tragic if I don’t see him as a team-mate again.”
“He’s doing his stuff on the field, much like Eden Hazard. He’s demonstrating what he’s doing while playing. He’s a man who dictates the game and not a lot of people in the world have that sort of consistency.”
“He still trains[hard] and then performs free-kicks. He’s someone who really tries to make things better.”
