Former Milan star Ronaldinho, after the death of his mother from COVID-19, thanked everyone for their ‘affection and encouragement.’
Over the weekend at the age of 71, Dona Miguelina Eloi Assis dos Santos died of coronavirus-related complications.
“My family and I thank all of you for the affection and support we have received in this very difficult time,” wrote Ronaldinho on Instagram.
“My mother was an inspiration of strength and joy to all who knew her and will continue to shine her light on our lives forever.”
“With the strength, she taught us, we will continue our journey. Thank you.”
