Inter has confirmed that this weekend Romelu Lukaku is out of the Serie A match with Parma after he sustained a thigh injury.
The striker played with Shakhtar Donetsk in Kyiv in the 0-0 Champions League draw.
“Romelu Lukaku underwent an MRI scan at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano this morning following a problem that arose during Tuesday’s Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk,” read a statement.
“The scans showed that he has suffered a strain in his left thigh. His condition will be monitored daily.”
The scope of the injury is not comprehended, but it’s appropriate to understand that on Saturday the Belgian will be out of the Serie A meeting with Parma.
The race is on to get him back in the Champions League against Real Madrid.
