Roma is considering to sign Dejan Lovren, center-back from Liverpool for a summer move.
Next summer Lovren’s contract will expire and he will be out of Anfield. In 2014 for his move from Southampton to Liverpool the center-back has made 184 appearances, and during the 2019-20 campaign for the Reds, he made only 14 appearances.
Roma allegedly believes their strong relationship with the European champions will mean they will be able to sign Lovren in a cut-price deal given his contract situation.
Roma is weighing up a swoop and ahead of 2020-21 season, Croatia International is expected to seek new pastures Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The report states that the finalist of the 2018 World Cup is seen as a more affordable option than Chris Smalling of Manchester United, who has spent the current season on loan at the club.
