Julian Nagelsmann claims that Robert Lewandowski is at a stage in his career where he should concentrate on staying fit and not on improving.
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski can not get any better so just need to practice to stay fit, according to RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann.
“With all due respect, Robert Lewandowski doesn’t really have to train anything anymore,” Nagelsmann told Mitteldeutsche Zeitung.
“He can do everything. He just has to train in such a way that he’s fresh and ready for the weekend.”
“In addition, we can no longer pick from the top shelf of internationally coveted young players. At this point, [Borussia] Dortmund and Bayern are ahead of us. Therefore, we will not be able to catch these teams if things go normally.”
