Erling Braut Haaland was a “good” player said Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane when questioned about the Borussia Dortmund striker during a press conference on Friday.
For a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema, Los Blancos are believed to be on the market and have allegedly identified Haaland as a potential target.
Scoring 21 times in 23 appearances in all competitions, the 20-year-old has been in excellent shape for Dortmund, since arriving during the January transfer window.
Zidane revealed that he admired the youngster when questioned before the clash with Cadiz on Saturday and in the summer of 2022, the Norwegian international may allegedly leave Dortmund for EUR 75 m ( £ 68 m).
Zidane told reporters, “Haaland isn’t my player, but he’s good. What can I say?”
It is also said that the center-forward is a target for Manchester City and Juventus, with BVB apparently facing a serious battle to maintain its services on a long-term basis.
