Sergio Ramos, captain of Real Madrid is expected to sign a new deal with the club shortly.
As citing El Larguero reports that the parties have reached an agreement in principle to extend the contract for another two years.
It remains to agree on small financial details. The negotiations are conducted directly by the 34-year-old player himself and the club’s president, Florentino Perez, and do not involve intermediaries or Ramos’ brother and agent.
By the end of the year, Real Madrid plans to announce the extension of the contract with Ramos.
The defender has been supporting Real since the 2005/06 season. In a total of 660 games, he has served the club winning the Spanish La Liga five times and the Champions League four times.
