Quique Setien to sue former club Barcelona for not paying him compensation

Barcelona’s ex-coach, Quique Setien, told why he decided to sue the former club after being sacked in the outcome of the 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich.

He had not received compensation for breaking the contract thus he planned to sue Barcelona.

Setien said to Marca, “Barcelona hasn’t paid me any compensation or offered me anything. They did not even call me to tell me I was sacked”.

“It was obvious that the club was having a tough time, it was clearly visible on arrival. This has a direct impact on sports results.”

“You always believe that you can help solve this problem. But it was impossible, although we did our best.” 

Setien was fired in August. The coach sent a fax to the club to legally organize the termination.
