Robert Lewandowski is a wonderful player, but he’s not Lionel Messi, according to Barcelona manager Quique Setien.
Setien has confidence in his own side and knows that the team is capable of magic.
In the run-up to Friday’s quarter-final, Setien showed his respect for Lewandowski.
“Lewandowski is a great footballer, but he’s not up to Leo’s level. That’s obvious,” Setien said at his pre-match press conference.
“He’s in a special moment now. He has 13 goals in the Champions League and is really strongly assisted by his teammates, but we have already seen Leo the other day against Napoli. It’s a nice thing that we can enjoy these players.”
