Paris Saint-Germain extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to three points over second-placed Lille on Friday evening at the Parc des Princes with a 4-0 rout of ten-man Montpellier.
Kylian Mbappe was the star, drawing the foul from Montpellier goalkeeper Jonas Omlin after being played through on goal, a challenge which saw the initial yellow card upgraded to red after a VAR check.
Before three second-half goals in four minutes from Neymar, Mauro Icardi and Mbappe again to wrap up a comfortable win, Mbappe chipped superbly over substitute ‘keeper Dimitry Bertaud to open the scoring.
