Premier League: Manchester City made great comeback against Aston Villa 

Manchester City made a stunning comeback after trailing by one goal to defeat Aston Villa 2–1 in the English Premier League (EPL) match. Following this victory, Manchester City now need only eight points from five matches to become EPL champions for the third time in the last four seasons, according to the BBC report. City has gained 77 points from 33 matches and are 11 points ahead of second-placed Manchester United. 

Aston Villa took a 1-0 lead in the first minute thanks to a John McGinn goal. Manchester City’s Phil Foden then scored in the 22nd minute of the match to give City a 1–1 draw. Manchester City increased their lead over time until they led to an equalizer. It was a nice fast action in the style of Pep Guardiola’s team. Bernardo Silva got the ball while still in the penalty area and immediately played it to Phil Foden.

By the end of the first half, the team of guests ruled indivisibly on the pitch. In the 40th minute, Rodri scored from a header to put Manchester City ahead 2–1. Manchester City player Stone was shown a red card in the 44th minute of the match. After this, City had to play with 10 players only. At the same time, the player of the Aston Villa team, 57th minute of the match, was also shown a red card. After this, Villa also had to play with 10 players. Despite this, City retained the lead and won the match.
