Football was brought to a halt in March of last year due to the coronavirus pandemic which led to a delay in the previous season and also affected the start of this season.
Despite the fact that the European Championship, which was initially planned for last summer, has been delayed and will instead take place at the end of this season, the intention is to commence in mid-August as usual.
