Pogba transfer: Manchester United doubtful if Juventus or Real Madrid could afford the Frenchman

Paul Pogba in particular could leave after talking to coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about his role as a substitute in the Champions League 6th round match against Leipzig (2-3).

The future of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba still remains uncertain.

According to the Daily Mail, the Frenchman could leave Man Utd in January and move to Juventus.

According to ESPN, Manchester United are doubtful that Juventus or Real Madrid can afford Pogba transfer and his salary of around £290,000 a week.

Due to the lack of money, Manchester United are awaiting exchange offers, but will not consider players who are not on their priority list.

The Frenchman prefers Real Madrid himself, with Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane also interested in him.

It is not impossible that Pogba will eventually extend his contract, although management is divided on whether it is in the club’s interest to retain a player who has repeatedly hinted that he wants to leave.

Pogba’s contract with Manchester United runs until 2022.
