Former Tottenham Hotspur boss, Mauricio Pochettino, may allegedly grow as Barcelona’s head coach replacing Quique Setien.
Argentinan is widely expected to be back in the game for the 2020-21 season after leaving Spurs at the end of last year.
On August 8 Barca will play against Napoli in their last-16 second leg of the Champions League until then Setien reportedly remains as the head coach, but the uncertainty about the 61-year-old’s future continues.
This season the Catalan giants were beaten by Real Madrid to the title of La Liga.
With Laurent Blanc and Patrick Kluivert being linked to the role, the Catalan giants are expected to consider managerial candidates.
But Pochettino may also be in the running for the role, according to Marca.
The former Espanyol manager has not yet determined the next move of the 48-year-old who has been already ‘approached’ by Barca, the article states.
Newcastle United, Benfica, Monaco and Juventus were all named as possible suitors as well.
