Pioli on 2-1 with Roma: It was an intense match with a lot of tempo

Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has recapitulated the Serie A match against Roma (2-1).

“I told the team that two defeats cannot take away the confidence we have built up over the year. In the last couple of weeks we have not performed as we had hoped and that should give us more motivation,” said Pioli at the press conference.

“Today, we played a great first half and could have scored more. It was an intense match, with a lot of tempo, which is how we like to play. We were up against a very strong opponent and we conceded – it happens, but the boys should be praised.”
