Pimienta signed an elongated agreement with Barca

Garcia Pimienta signed a new contract with the current club Barcelona, just three hours prior when his agreement was going to expire, announced the club. His latest contract is elongated till 30 June 2021.

It’s suspected that if Quique Setien struggles to change it around, the coach will end up at the first pick. 

In the Champions League, ‘Pimi’ could lead Blaugrana as Setien would remain as a coach until the league campaign is over, reported ESPN.

As of now, the 45-year-old is mainly targeting to attain promotion with the reserves to the Segunda Division. As they face off against the B team of Real Valladolid, their first playoff match is set to take place on July 19.
