Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola conversed on the team’s future in the Champions League.
“It’s hard, it’s very hard. There are many examples to prove what I am saying. There are more games here against more trained coaches. There are more games in which the coaches know what they should do,” said Guardiola at the press conference.
“Teams are stronger here. There is more money in each club, not just in a few teams. Many have the opportunity to spend and buy players.”
“It is difficult. Look at Atalanta last season, the semifinalists in the Champions League, the Series A wrestling – it was incredible. Take a look at Shakhtar in the match against Real, which then played in a draw with Inter. This is nonsense, this has never happened before.”
“It is not easy to make it to the playoffs. Every time we get there, I tell the players: ‘Congratulations and enjoy the moment’. Entering the next round is the first success of the season.”
