Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata injured, expected to return after international break

Juventus duo Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata are expected to return from injury after the international break, however, they will miss Bianconeri’s next two games. In Juventus’ 3-2 win over Sampdoria, the two forwards were injured. This football match was marked as the Turin club’s first victory in the 21/22 Serie A season.

During a post-match press conference, head coach Massimiliano Allegri announced that they would be unavailable for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Chelsea. Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata from Juventus will not return from injury until after the October international break.

On the other hand, the duo has since been evaluated, and their injuries will also prevent them from facing Torino in the Derby della Mole according to Sky Sports football news. The match between Juventus and Roma in Serie A on October 17 is likely to be the earliest time either player appears.

After failing to win any of their first four domestic matches this win over Sampdoria was Bianconeri’s first league victory. On Sunday the first goal of the game was scored by Dybala but was forced off with a thigh injury in the first half,  and Morata followed suit with a hamstring problem late in the game.

After a difficult start to the season, the loss of the club’s two top scorers – with three goals each in all competitions – comes as a huge blow to a team that was just starting to gain momentum ahead of two tough games. Before facing Torino in Serie A action three days later Juventus host Chelsea in their Champions League Group H contest.
