Paul Pogba intends to stay at Manchester United for the next season.
In Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team, Pogba has established himself as a key member, having used the enforced lockdown to fully recover from any lingering injury problems.
The 27-year-old has only one year left on his existing contract and United has the opportunity of extending its current terms by another 12 months.
Although this clause is still to be activated by the North-West giants, the World Cup winner has suggested that until June 2021 at least he would like to be at the club.
Pogba wrote on Twitter after United qualified for the Champions League on Sunday: “Let’s goooooooo, Champions League baby.”
With a 2-0 victory over Leicester City, United achieved third place in the Premier League campaign.
