Parma sacked Liverani to appoint former coach D′Aversa

Serie A club Parma has changed their head coach Fabio Liverani.

The club management has appointed Roberto D′Aversa in place of Fabio Liverani. D′Aversa has already led the team from December 2016 to August 2020 and took it to the top of the league from the country’s third division.

Remarkably, with the words “due to the disappearance of cohesion, harmony and mutual enthusiasm” in the team, D′Aversa was sacked less than six months ago.

After 18 Serie A rounds, the club is 18th in the table with 12 points. Their next match will be against Lazio on 10 January.
