On Thursday night David Ospina met with an accident following a crash between two teammates, and he left the pitch on a stretcher with blood running down his face.
The Napoli goalkeeper crashed into colleague Mario Rui and Atalanta’s Mattia Caldara, after sending the ball high from an Atalanta set-piece.

As the ball was whipped in by Alejandro Dario Gomez and Ospina put out a strong hand, the incident came in the twenty-fifth minute.
Rui and Caldara rushed in, and both couldn’t help but hit the goalkeeper, attempting to catch the ball.
As an outcome, he was left with a deep cut, and before being bandaged and rolled out blood was shown on the broadcast. He was interchanged by Alex Meret.
At the start of the second half, ex-Chelsea ma Mario Pasalic brought Atalanta away, as the game went on.
Robin Gosens doubled the advantage from the home side and they saw the game out for a 2-0 win.
In Serie A Napoli remains sixth and Atalanta sits fourth.
