Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stated that the current transfer window would be a “different world”.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stated that the current transfer window would be a “different world” due to the financial consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

As teams across Europe are invigorating for huge financial losses as the summer transfer market is shaping up to be much different than in previous years owing to playing games without supporters and fans, in certain situations, seeing seasons completely canceled.

A big investment is likely to be cut down, while teams seek to boost their teams cheaply, transfers of free agents and trade transactions are predicted to acquire popularity.

Including Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho, Solskjaer saw his team linked with deals of huge money for a number of stars, but he claimed that he was unsure about how the game will be performing in the face of so much uncertainty.

Solskjaer told Sky Sports “We’re still trying to strengthen the team,”

“The chaos in the world today, nobody knows how sport and the economy would be so I’m very pleased with the group I’ve received.”

“The landscape now is different than when it was two months before. We have to change, evolve, there are teams out there who are suffering financially more than anyone. It’s a modern environment, so I believe that this summer’s transfer market would be completely different from what everyone assumed it would be.”

The Norwegian said, “This season, I think Mason [Greenwood], Anthony [Martial] and Marcus [Rashford] were great, scoring up to 50 goals between them.”.

“Marcus got his fracture, even Anthony on the path for his best season, and Mason is of course just a special talent with his goal-scoring skill.”

Even in the endless hunt for replacements on his team, Solskjaer advised that he would not actually be unhappy if the likes of Sancho or Grealish were not brought in due to the amount of talent already handy to him.
