Odegaard expected to return to Real Madrid this summer and the club won’t sign new players

Due to the financial effects of the coronavirus outbreak, there will be no signings this summer, Real Madrid director Jose Angel Sanchez officially told players at the club.

In the competition’s last-16 round when they lost to Manchester City, Los Blancos wrestled the championship of La Liga away from Barcelona but fell short in the Champions League.

Sanchez has told the players that ahead of the 2020-21 campaign no new signings will be made while Madrid was thought to be planning to strengthen their squad this summer, according to Marca.

Martin Odegaard would return to the Bernabeu this summer – Real Sociedad announced on Wednesday – after initially agreeing to spend with the Basque club next season as well.

Having impressed on loan club Arsenal Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos may also be given an opportunity to win a first-team spot next year in the latter stages of the 2019-20 season.

Earlier this year, Los Blancos had close relations with Paul Pogba, but France International is now expected to be open to signing a new deal with Manchester United.
